Güzel bir Pazar okuması olsun istedim :) Cumartesi günü bir 'sanat günü' yapacağımızdan bahsetmiştim. Vapurla Karaköy'e geçtikten sonra yürüyerek İstanbul Moda Haftası'nın yapıldığı Antrepo 3'e gittik. Mamut Art Project birbirinden farklı bir çok genç sanatçının toplumsal mesajlar veren eserlerini bulabileceğiniz bir sergi. Bugün son günü yolunuz düşerse, mutlaka uğrayın. İlk başta İstanbul Moda Akademisi'nin düzenlediği moda sanat söyleşisine katıldık. Ümit Ünal ile moda sanat mıdır, Türkiye'de moda var mıdır, toplumların kültürüne göre moda nasıl değişir, moda işçisi her zaman bakımlı ve havalı olabilir mi gibi ilginç konuları konuştuk. Ben çok keyif aldım, tabii vardığımız sonuçlar çok iç açıcı değil tahmin edersiniz. Moda tasarımdır, defilede son derece şık görünmenin ötesidir, moda işçileri tüketmek yerine sürekli üretir, bu kadar bakımlı olmaya vakit bulamazlar, Türkiye'de moda dünyayı şekillendirecek güçte hiç olamadı, moda sanattır, kitlesel üretim bunu yok eder gibi sonuçlara vardık. Bunlara siz ne dersiniz?

Nice article for you for Sunday! I have mentioned you about our 'art saturday' on my last post. First, we went to Karaköy with ferry to go Antrepo 3 where Istanbul Fashion Week had happened. Mamut Art Project is where you can see pieces of art of different young artists. They all give some social messages. Then we attend to art-fashion relationship conversation with fashion designer Ümit Ünal. We discuss some points like fashion is art, fashion in Turkey, how fashion changes according to culture of socieities, are workers of fashion always beautiful. It was so delighting, however conclusion was not so good. Fashion is design, it is beyond beeing chic all the time, fashion workers always produce instead of consuming, fashion is art but mass production destroys this notion. What do you think about this?
