Gözüme ve zevkime güvenirim ama tasarım konusunda iyi olduğumu söyleyemem, çünkü sabretme konusunda başarısızım. Kendimi sınamamın vakti gelmişti, tam da bunu düşünürken Kabine Nadire'de düzenlenen defter atölyesine Melodi Türkili (nishmoda.com) tarafından davet edildim. Öncelikle, Kabine Nadire'den bahsetmek istiyorum. Burası Moda'da bir tasarım dükkanı, içeride değişik tasarımcıların yaptığı takı, ayakkabı, çanta, magnetler yani tasarım dolu bir sürü şey bulabilirsiniz. Eğer siz de bir şeyler tasarlıyorsanız, Kabine Nadire'de ürünlerinizi satmak için onlarla iletişime geçebilirsiniz. Ayrıca, çok tarz tertemiz ikinci el ürünler de çok uygun fiyatlara satılıyor. He bir de buranın çok hoşuma giden bir işi daha var: Moda'da kiraladıkları eski bir Rum evinde yurt dışından gelen sanatçıları ağırlıyorlar ve dükkanlarının üst katında eserleri sergilenebiliyor. Bence çok etkileyici, Türkiye'de bunu yapan ve sanata böyle önem veren çok az yer var. Bu atölye sayesinde bu vizyon sahibi yeri de tanımış oldum. Defter bahane, her şey şahane :)
Defter yapma konusuna gelince; oldukça zorlandığımı itiraf etmeliyim. Hayatımda dikiş dikmemiş biri olarak, o defteri dikmek oldukça zor oldu ama yardımlar sayesinde başardım. Arkadaşlarım harika defterler ortaya çıkardı, onları kutluyorum. Kendimi de sabrım dolayısıyla kutluyorum, defterimin kapağını sabahki ritüelim kahve, gazeteden esinlenerek yaptım, bana çok huzur verdiği için. Ortaya kendi emeğinle kullanılabilir bir şey çıkarmak çok zevkli. Atölyeler devam edecek, Twitter'dan duyuruları yaparım. Moda'ya yolunuz düşerse, mutlaka uğramanız gereken bir yer, ayrıca dekorasyonuyla da size çok ilham verecek. Sonra da günün en sevdiğim zamanı, güneş batıyor...
I always count on my taste but I should say that I am not good at designing, I think that is because of lack of patience. The time has come to test myself, my friend Melodi (owner of nishmoda.com) invited me to atelier of notebook. Firstly, I want to talk about Kabine Nadire where the activity had happened. Here is a designer shop where different designers collect their designs to sell. Also, they sell very stylish second-hand clothes. On the other hand, they host foreigner artists in an antique house that they rent. So that they can work and perform their art in the shop as an exhibition. So, keep this in mind, you can both be inspired by Istanbul and perform your art by coming to Kabine Nadire :) I had a chance to know this great place thanks to this atelier. Also, the decoration of the place is very inspiring with old luggages and stuff.
So, when I was creating my notebook, I had some difficult times because I am not good at sewing either. But I succeed it thanks to my friends help. The cover of my notebook is inspired by my rituel in mornings, coffee and newspaper. It is great to come up with something new. And, in the end my favorite time of the day: sunset...
