Oldies but Goldies?

According to a research, people are not pleased with their own living period and they want to live in oldies. Really, we always talk about oldies, we say; how wonderful was that, how amazing was it? We are aspired by oldies. For example, I feel like I would be great if I was living in 80's as a young woman. 'Oldies but Goldies' is not something come up in vain. Elegant and chic Turkish republican women, glam of old Hollywood and Marilyn Monroe, luxurious but problematic life of celebrities and artists like in the movie Midnight in Paris, Hippies, their lifestyle and fashion... I am also affected a lot by the life of Edie Sedgwick-Andy Warhol and old New York in the movie Factory Girl. I love to look at my parents old photos especially their style like wide leg trousers, frizzy hair, perfect bodies and simplicity of locations... What comes to you mind other as oldies? Bir araştırmaya göre, insanların yaşadığı dönemde değil, geçmişte yaşamak istedikleri ortaya çıkmış. Gerçekten de bu muhabbet hep geçer, geçmişte ne güzelmiş böyleymiş şöyleymiş diye, hep geçmişe özeniriz. Ben mesela 80'lerin genci olmalıymışım gibi düşünürüm hep, tabii sadece bir kaç resime dayanarak :) Eski resimlere baktığımda hep çok ilhamlanırım, 'Oldies but Goldies' lafı boşuna çıkmamış olsa gerek. Nazik, elegan ve şık Cumhuriyet kadınları, Hollywood'un o eski ihtişamı ve Marilyn Monroe'su, Midnight in Paris filminde olduğu gibi ünlü sanatçıların lüks ama sorunlu hayatları, Hippiler'in hayat stilleri ve modası... Factory Girl filminde Edie Sedgwick-Andy Warhol'un hayatları ve eski New York beni çok etkilemişti. Annemle babamın eski resimlerine de bakmaya bayılıyorum, onların o zamanki bol paçalı pantolonlara, kabarık saç kesimlerine, mekanların sadeliğine... Sizin aklınıza neler geliyor başka?
